PRIVACY STATEMENT

EarthWeb provides interactive environments on the Internet to enable information technology professionals from around the world to find, use and share the information they need to do their jobs better and more efficiently. We recognize and support the need to protect the privacy rights of our members through disclosure of our practices for collection and use of member information.

In general, you can visit many of the EarthWeb sites on the Web at any time without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. We log the IP address, type of operating system and browser software used by each visitor to an EarthWeb site, and from this information we can derive the identity of the visitor's geographic location and Internet Service Provider. EarthWeb will not disclose to third parties your credit card information, except to the extent necessary to complete a transaction initiated by you.

EarthWeb uses cookies to help track activity at EarthWeb's sites so that EarthWeb can make its sites more interesting and useful to visitors.
